These standard RO membrane housings are long-lasting and offer wide membrane compatibility. Membrane housings are relatively standard across the industry, and these housings will fit standard 10″ RO membranes, such as the popular Dow Filmtec 75 GPD membranes. Made with high-quality components and o-rings, they are the perfect option for building your RO/DI system or replacing a worn-out membrane housing.
For the most part, the only wearable parts are the o-rings that seal the housing. If the o-rings are kept properly lubricated, they will often last years without any problems. However, over time the o-rings can wear out or deform, and with slight variations intolerances of o-rings and housings over time, it’s often easier purchasing an entirely new housing.
Note: Housing has 1/8″ Female NPT Fittings. We highly recommend the use of a push connect elbow check valve on the product water line if you are going to use auto shut off valve on your RODI system. The use of a non-check push connect elbow is totally fine, as inline check valves can be added at any time.
